Instagrammer Shows The Differences Between Instagram And Reality
Cheating on the internet is really easy, no wonder we all have complexes about our bodies. One woman shows how much Instagram and reality differ.
We live in a society where it is incredibly important for most people to look as perfect and flawless as possible. Especially through the various social networks, we often feel like we aren't good enough. It's no wonder that some people get inferiority complexes when they see all the perfect photos that are posted online every day by other people - especially by influencers who present a perfect fairy tale world. Sara Puhto, on the other hand, a 20-something Finnish influencer, does not belong to this type of influencer. On her Instagram account, the young woman presents us with the harsh reality and shows how easy it is to "cheat" on Instagram and other social platforms.
Anyone can look like a supermodel. All you have to do is pose correctly. However, if you don't know that, you'll quickly feel uncomfortable on Instagram.
That's why Sarah wants to educate people online...
The "perfect" beach body vs. how we really relax on the beach.
Also cute without makeup, but probably not "good" enough in regards to social media standards.
The good old fake smile. The snap on the right looks way more natural and relatable, doesn't it?
Instead of completely stretching, sucking in and twisting to achieve the "perfect" body, just RELAX.
It's not just during summer time that we work hard to get the perfect photo. In winter, we also have to put up with a lot to make the photos as social media friendly as possible.
Belly? What belly? I don't have a belly . Oh, and most people don't seem to have real thighs either.
Just turn to the side and find the right position, and - you look much thinner.
Even arm fat - if you can call it that - can be easily removed.
But sometimes our perception of ourselves is very different from the person others see.
And here, Sara sometimes shows herself with a very beautiful but uncomfortable pose, and then with a pose that we probably wouldn't find while flicking through fashion magazines. But she feels more comfortable with it, and that's what counts.
I'm sure we are all familiar with this effect. On the back: "Look, you can see my ribs!". And on the side: "What's my belly doing?" It's all about perspective.
Tight or bulging belly? It depends on where the panties are!
Here, Sara reveals how people judge her based on a single photo. Is she too thin? Too fat? Does she work out too little? She's often being attacked – prejudices and accusations fly her way. What people tend to forget is that you can't tell what a person's real physical condition is based on a post.
Yes, a pose can make your body look well-proportioned and natural. But more importantly, we all look the same in real life: A crease here, an unnatural smile there. There are uncountable tricks to ensure that we always look good in photos.
Especially in profile, Sarah can quickly and easily show off her slender figure. When she then raises her arms, her body is immediately stretched. She looks completely different from the front, with her arms hanging down.
It's pictures like this that show other women how normal their bodies are and that there's nothing to be ashamed of. Once you realize how easy it is to manipulate pictures, both through Photoshop and by posing, the weight of apparent perfection lifts off your chest.
One last thing that stands out: It's not the clothes that make or break the photo! Even the little crop top looks like it's being worn by a professional model at one point, and in the next photo it barely seems to fit.
It doesn't matter from which angle or in which light: Our bodies are beautiful!
