Navigating through life as a new mother can be super challenging – a fact celebrity moms aren't spared from! Instead of showing only the seemingly perfect sides of motherhood, these famous moms decide, over and over again, to stay true to themselves and be honest with their fans. We love to see them keeping it real!

#1 Ashley Graham

Since welcoming her twins, Malachi and Roman, on January 7, 2022, the model and her husband Justin Ervin are parents of three! Graham doesn't seem to be a fan of faking any of it and is radically honest when it comes to her postpartum experience. Recently, she shared this intimate shot which shows her nursing her two sons – no filter or anything distracting us from the beauty of breastfeeding! And, as you can tell from her caption – her humor hasn't changed since becoming a mom! Amen.

#2 Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had a Daughter via Surrogate Mother

When the couple announced on January 21, 2022 that they had welcomed a baby girl, fans all over the world were more than surprised! Chopra and Jonas were able to keep it a secret for so long because their daughter was born with the help of a surrogate mother. Now, on occasion of Mother's Day, the couple has posted their first ever photo as a little family. They shared what a difficult time they had with little “MM“, since she had to be hospitalized for more than 100 days. But now, they were finally able to take her home and be together as the family they wished for.

#3 Kristen Bell as a Mother and Wife

Well, have you ever seen a Mother's Day post like this?! In honor of Mother's Day, actor Dax Shepard chose a, well, unique way of appreciating his wife and fellow actor Kristen Bell. With the caption “Mom’ing has changed since I was a kid...and I’m here for it. Look at this specimen: kind, patient, nurturing, hilarious, Uber talented, generous, hard AND soft. My girls and I hit the MegaMom Lottery in spectacular fashion. We are so grateful and so in love with you,“ Shepard allows us a tiny glimpse into the fun, down to earth family life the couple seem to have. Doing yoga while wearing nothing but socks. If this doesn't scream “I'm keeping it real!“ then we don't know what does.

#4 Model Kelly Hughes

For the first time in the history of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, the magazine cover features a woman proudly showing her C-section scar! Speaking to Allure magazine, model Hughes reveals that accepting her bodily changes after giving birth wasn't easy at first, especially since her job is all about her body. “It took time to heal physically and mentally and embrace all that I had gone through and the many changes to my body to find the strength in it [...] It wasn't until I embraced my scar that I experienced the power in it.“ We hope this is just the beginning of a series of more realistic and diverse body representations in the magazine!
