Sometimes we think about celebrities and stars who died too soon and wonder what they would look like today if they were still alive. Of course, in many cases, we can't really imagine this, which is why Instagram account user hidreley set out to finally give us an answer to this question. Here's what deceased stars might look like today if they were still alive.

#1 Princess Diana

On August 31, 1997, Princess Diana - often referred to as "Lady Di" in popular parlance - died in a car accident in Paris. After her divorce from Prince Charles, she was driving in the French capital with her new boyfriend Dodi Al-Fayed when the accident occurred. She died at the age of 36. Her death caused a wave of consternation, so much so that many sometimes wonder what Lady Diana would look like today.

But for the next star in the 27 Club, we have probably already wondered what the singer would look like today...

#2 Amy Winehouse

The singer was not only known for her characteristic beehive hairstyle, but also for her scandals and lifestyle - to say the least - unhealthy. After dying of alcohol poisoning, the artist became part of the mythical 27 club, which includes many famous singers who also died at 27. In fact, this is how Amy Winehouse, born in 1983, presents herself today.

The following musician has also left a great void in many fans

#4 Marylin Monroe

Born on June 1, 1926, Marilyn Monroe would be well into her 90s if she were still alive today. The Hollywood beauty, who became a global star in the 1950s and remains one of the biggest names in pop culture, would have kept herself well preserved, right? In fact, the pop icon passed away in 1962 at the age of 36.

But for the next global star, many wonder what she would look like today if she were still alive...
