 That was the first line of the intro song to the popular children's series "LazyTown". Colorful and playful, the show encouraged its viewers to have fun by playing sports and giving up sweets. The series offered a mix of cartoons, CGI and movies, as well as great entertainment in the fight between good and evil, embodied by "Sportacus" and "Robbie Rotten", among others. From 2005 to 2014, the Icelandic series also paraded on English screens. But since the end of the broadcast, many fans are wondering what the TV stars are up to today.

Magnus Scheving alias "Sportacus"

The similarity to the name of the Hellenistic hero Spartacus is obvious. Magnus Scheving took on the role of the hero "Sportacus". His role model function for children was achieved mainly through his healthy diet and sporting activities. We still like to watch clips of him on YouTube.

On his official Instagram account, the actor can be seen practicing his greatest passion: healthy eating and a sporty lifestyle. Today, the 54-year-old works as a book author and entrepreneur. In addition, he even led aerobics classes in Iceland. In fact, the actor Magnus Scheving has a lot of the character traits of his role as "Sportacus". For his fans, he is also a great role model in real life. Scheving was even "Sportsman of the Year 1994" in Iceland and starred in the 2009 film comedy "Spy Daddy".

Stefan Karl Stefansson alias "Robbie Rotten"

"Robbie Rotten" was the villain of the "LazyTown" series. He stands for the "lazy" in "LazyTown" and does everything for his city to be calm and relaxed. That's why he tries to do damage by manipulations in order to get rid of the active "Sportacus". But his efforts are often in vain, because he has no chance against "Sportacus".

Stefan Karl Stefansson 

In addition to his activities in "LazyTown", the actor also worked as a dubbing actor for the comedy "Night at the Museum" and the film "Thor". 

Unfortunately, the actor passed away on August 21, 2018 from pancreatic cancer. Previously, the disease had made this father of four children increasingly discreet. He had lived only 43 years.

Julianna Rose Mauriello alias "Stephanie"

As the mayor's niece, "Stephanie" arrives in town as a newcomer. The character is characterized by her pink clothes and pink wig, as well as a constant smile on her face. She was one of our favorites in "LazyTown" and doesn't just do cool sports moves in the trailer!

Julianna Rose Mauriello

The actress, born in 1991, is no longer active in the field of comedy. She has had small roles in commercials and has worked as a voiceover artist on the side. Today, she is a full-time dancer and participates in honors classes at the Professional Performing Arts School in New York. In addition to ballet, she takes classes in jazz dance, Irish dance and tap.
